Right now I evaluate children ages six and up, through adulthood. I occasionally make exceptions for five-year-olds, particularly if they are close to turning six or have a sibling already on a program. As I complete additional certifications, I will be able to evaluate from birth through adulthood. I am not yet certified to evaluate children with Down syndrome or other genetic conditions, but I am working toward that certification. I do offer in-home support for children with Down syndrome or genetic conditions who already have a program in place.

An evaluation typically runs somewhere between one and three hours. The goal is to spend enough time together to get a full picture of what is going on, walk you through what I observe, and answer your questions along the way.

After your evaluation, I send my write-up to a senior neurodevelopmentalist, and a personalized home program is developed based on what the evaluation found. When the program comes back, I send it to you and schedule a teaching session so you can learn how to implement everything at home. Most activities require little to no equipment and are straightforward to do in a normal family setting.

The goal is to meet once every four months for a follow-up evaluation, which always includes a program teaching session. In between, I am available to families by email or phone during general business hours, particularly during the first evaluation cycle. That support is included as part of the overall cost of the evaluation.

Evaluations are priced as follows: the first family member's initial evaluation is $600, and $550 for each additional family member evaluated. Return evaluations are $500 for the first family member and $450 for each additional. Every evaluation includes the assessment, the home program, and the teaching session. Before your evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive intake form to complete ahead of time. This gives me a full picture of your child's history, development, and what your family has already tried, so we can spend our time together going deep rather than starting from scratch. Plan to set aside some time to fill it out thoughtfully; the more you share, the more useful the evaluation will be.

Yes. Siblings can be scheduled back-to-back as scheduling allows. The second family member is priced at a reduced rate each person gets their own block to receive the attention they need.
